  1. 1. Tickets

    Tickets may be sold and purchased only in British Columbia.

    Ticket purchasers must be 19 years of age or older.

  2. 2. 50/50

    BC Gaming Event Licence #129613

    1 for $10.00; 2681 tickets
    3 for $20.00; 2562 tickets
    10 for $50.00; 2270 tickets

    The 50/50 is a draw where the money received in ticket sales is divided evenly between the winner and the charity.

    Maximum 50/50 payout will be $27,620.00.

  3. 3. Important Dates & Draw Information

    Deadline
    Final ticket sales deadline: September 21, 2022 at 12:00:00 a.m. PDT

    Draw
    50/50 draw: September 21, 2022 at 6:00:00 p.m. PDT

    If for some reason, the draw cannot take place on the draw date listed, a substitute draw date and time will be selected. All ticket purchasers will be able to see the amended draw date and time information posted on the same website the ticket was purchased.

    Draw will be held at 1750 Admiral Tryon Blvd, Parksville BC V9P 2V2

    The winning ticket is drawn using Random Number Generator software (RNG). 

    All members of the public are welcome to attend the draw.

    Winners will be posted online at https://eaglepreserve.rafflenexus.com/winners on September 21, 2022.

  4. 4. Winner

    Winner will be contacted by phone by the Save Estuary Land Society.

    Winners consent to release of their names by licensee.

    If a winning ticket bears a minor's name, the prize will be lawfully delivered to the minor's parent, legal guardian or trustee.

    No tickets will be purchased by the Board of Directors of the Save Estuary Land Society or employees involved with the conduct and management of the ticket raffle.

  5. 5. Privacy

    Save Estuary Land Society does not sell, rent or exchange any personal information collected from our supporters with any other organization or entity.

  6. 6. Complaints

    Any complaints can be directed to the raffle administrators by emailing: SELS.Raffle@gmail.com. Administrators will review the complaint and take action if necessary.

  7. 7. Delay in Draw

    Should a delay occur in the draw time on draw day, every effort will be made to make the draw as soon as possible. Should an alternate day need to be announced, after approval by BC Gaming, all ticket purchasers will be notified via email.

  8. 8. Other

The Save Estuary Land Society is a registered, non-profit society dedicated to conserving and restoring estuary ecosystems. The French Creek Estuary on mid Vancouver Island is an incredibly rich, biodiverse ecosystem with two salmon and trout bearing creeks, endangered Coastal Douglas-fir forest, vital wetlands and 19 Species at Risk. It's located in the heart of the Parksville Qualicum Beach Wildlife Management Area and at the centre of 48 Bald eagle nests.

Estuaries are critical, natural habitats supporting 1000’s of wildlife that come for food, water, shelter and to raise young.

Your ticket purchase supports conservation of this area as an Eagle Preserve, protects biodiversity & wildlife habitat, and helps guard against climate change.
